Good Afternoon everyone!<\/p>\n
This week is Maths Week. It\u2019s about celebrating all the
\namazing things in our world which use Maths and
\nencouraging children to take Maths beyond school!<\/p>\n
P3 have been given their homework for this week – three tasks that have been spoken about in class today.<\/p>\n
Task 1<\/strong><\/p>\n Worksheet – pupils have to find the number before and after the number in the sweet wrapper. Feel free to colour those jars in once you have finished.<\/p>\n Task 2 (In green jotter)<\/strong><\/p>\n Measure the length of five items. Use paper clips, coins, pens or something similar to measure the items. Line up the paper clips along the length of the item, then count the number of paper clips to see how long it is. Tell an adult what the longest item was and the shortest item was. Feel free to write what you discover in your jotter!<\/p>\n Task 3\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Using items that you can find outside, create a pattern. Try leaf, stones, leaf, stone etc or stick, stone, grass, stick,\u00a0 stone, grass.<\/p>\n Any questions please don’t hesitate to message me.
