Weekly Round-Up

What a busy week we have had.  Here are a few more pictures from our amazing trip on Wednesday.

The children have been enjoying some lovely ‘Health Week’ activities this week.  There has been fruit tasting as well as some outdoor maths activities and we even joined the ECC children for their Zumba session. It was great fun.

What a trip! 😎☀️

What a great day we had on our trip today! The kids were fantastic and made Catrine very proud! We had so much fun playing in the parks, having our picnic lunch and finding waterfalls. In the words of Calli and Miley it was definitely “the best trip ever!” Keep an eye on the blog as I’m sure Mrs Cook has more photos of our great day 😊

Big Talks and other fun

The children did an amazing job on their big talks this week. They were so confident when talking about what they want to be when they grow up and we loved seeing the posters and drawings they had made.

Here are some of the other activities we got up to this week:

Next week is a very busy week with Health Week, Sports day and our very first School Trip so stay tuned for lots of photos!

Big Talk Week

Just a reminder that Big Talk Week is Mon 6th – Fri 10th June.  Please see the previous post regarding the preparation for the ‘When I grow up, I would like to be…” information (or letter in book bag)

The talks will take place throughout the week so your child can bring in poster/drawing from home to show along with their talk on the following days:

Tuesday 7th June:  Ayla, Callum, Logan R, and Layla

Wednesday 8th June: Braxton, Charlotte, Rhys and Calli

Thursday 9th June: Allan, Adam, Riley and Ava

Friday 10th June: Miley, Carter, Quinn and Logan B

Thanks again for your support,

Mrs Ferguson

Week Ending 27th May

Another busy week in Primary 1.

We have been doing time in maths and have been learning about ‘O’clock’ times.

On Wednesday we had the World of Work Day and had great fun dressing up as different occupations and thinking about what we would like to be when we grow up.

We were learning the ‘oa’ digraph in literacy and had fun playing with the foam and making boats.

On Friday we had our last transition visit with the children from the ECC.
