We are delighted to confirm that the total raised is £84!!

The money raised will go toward our upcoming Christmas activities and events.

And finally… the results are in.

The winner of the Halloween Goodie Box is Olivia G, who is feeling a bit camera shy today!

ANOTHER FAB MONTH IN CATRINE ECC 🙂

Michelle’s Parent Workshop

Michelle is kicking off our first parent workshop of the year.

FRIDAY 7th NOVEMBER FROM 9AM – 10AM

As a staff team, we are continuously aiming to improve the service in which we can offer to our families.

Through self evaluation tasks and parent/carer feedback from questionnaires,  our goal is to ensure that parent/carers feel involved in the centre and understand how they can best support their child.

Each month, a different ELCP leads a workshop relating to their leadership area.

Michelle has a great understanding and wealth of knowledge in SCHEMATIC PLAY. The benefits of understanding this style of play can offer amazing learning experiences and she wants to share this with you as parents.

This session will be a mix of both adult information and time to be active with your child.

Please complete the form below by Wednesday 5th November to allow her to set up accordingly for the numbers attending (book in fast as we may need to cap it once it gets to higher numbers).

Lending Library HomeLink

🚨 LENDING LIBRARY HOMELINK ALERT 🚨

As the centre’s Literacy/Communication Champion I have organised a lending library home link that will run over a 4 week block commencing today Friday 3rd October! Your child will get to choose a book each Friday to take home for the week which should be returned by no later than the following Friday so they can receive a new book. New books will not be issued until the previous one has been returned.

Within their new library school bag, alongside their book of choice, will be feedback sheets, homelink activity sheets and an effective questioning toolkit for families to use alongside reading time which was highly suggested last year with family feedback. Our younger children in the Voes will receive a feedback sheet only due to age/stage appropriateness. I would appreciate full participation within each of these activities as it allows me to collect and collate data and track children’s progression. If your child participates fully, a sticker and certificate will be presented to them at the end of the block.

I ask that all items placed within the bag are kept within the bag each week so I can make small comments on them and that you and your child take good care of our new library bags as these will be reused for future homelink activities.

Thank you all for your cooperation and, most of all, enjoy some quality bonding time through these stories😊
