We have been on the Tesco waiting list for some time now, and its finally our turn ๐
Please tell your family and friends, share it on social media sites and don’t forget to lift your blue tokens every time you are in store from now until March ๐
The winning applicant gets a whopping ยฃ1500. If we win our aim is to transform our natural greenspace into an area full of risky play equipment developing gross motor skills, confidence, coordination, resilience and much, much more.
We are thrilled to bits at how today went. The children were fantastic, staff had a ball and it was lovely to hear such positive comments from parent/carers.
We know the majority of you are keen to see the other playrooms so on Friday we will be opening our doors from 2pm onwards for anyone that would like to drop in and explore with their child before taking them home.
Please note this is not a community open door day. We ask that it is at very most 2 adults per child simply for a wee walk round.
We will open our doors fully to extended family members, the community and residents of other nearby villages at our open night (tbc)
Thank you for your continued support throughout our decant –
I hope everyone that was able to join us this morning for our festive stay and play session had a great time. The children and staff were delighted having visitors in to see all the lovelyโฆ
On Tuesday 15th November myself and Lesleyanne had the privilege of attending the CYPIC conference in Glasgow SEC where our video clip was presented showcasing Catrine ECC and our fabulously famous children ๐
Scottish Government asked us to discuss some of the changes we have made so far whilst on our journey to becoming a Communication Friendly Environment with the collection of data and quality improvement methods in mind.
Below you can find the link to the video clip where you might see some familiar faces (Riccarton ECC appear first in the clip with Catrine following on a few minutes later)
The children have had a ball today exploring how fast/slow they can go adding water to our slide โฆ. however this has resulted in some slighter wetter clothes upon our return back inside.
Lots of children have empty bags and clothes needing topped up.
Please continue to send clothes in so that experiences like these can continue.
Thank you to everyone who sent in their videos to my emails. The children have loved watching each other. Sorry it didnโt work on learning journals.
This weekโs challenge is nice and easy. Can you make your own musical instrument? This can be made from anything you can recycle and can be brought in by Friday 18th November. The children can use them in our musical corner and we will have a marching band parade around the playrooms.
Here at Catrine ECC we are working hard in an effort to achieve our Digital Schools Award.
Sherrie is our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) Champion and within that role she hopes to lead the centre to this fab achievement but to do so she needs your help.
We would be super grateful if you could take just 5mins to complete the short questionnaire in the link below.ย Thank you in advance.
