In Cairns ECC, our shared vision is to provide a safe, caring, happy environment where children are given the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential. We work in close partnership with parents/carers, children and the wider community, to provide a stimulating and well balanced curriculum which provides appropriate learning experiences through play, and encourages children to take the lead in their learning.

We continually strive to be responsive to each child’s individual needs and treat each child with dignity and respect, to promote caring for others, positive attitudes and equal opportunities for lifelong learning, ensuring the pace and balance of the day meets the needs of children who attend our centre.

Our aim is to provide a balance of free play and more structured activities, where children have the opportunity to make informed choices about their learning and play. Careful planning ensures our children reach their full potential.

Our practice is underpinned by building and sustaining positive relationships, supporting our children and families to feel safe and secure, valued and respected.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child to the Cairns family and hope you will have a positive experience with us.
