We are very fortunate to have a number of Bookbug Leaders in the ECC.  We offer a number of sessions, suitable for ages 0-5, across the month. Bookbug is an interactive session aiming to encourage parents/carers to share stories, songs and rhymes with their child, and promote their love of reading. These sessions are free of charge.

Cairns Bairns has a monthly Bookbug with Lauren on the first Wednesday of the month. This is suitable for children aged 0-3 and a parent/carer. It runs during Cairns Bairns – 9:15am – 10:45am.

The Ocean room (2-3) currently has a monthly Bookbug session with Margo on the last Monday of the month. This is for our children aged 2-3 and a parent/carer. It runs from 9:30am – 10:15am.

The Jungle room (3-5) currently has a monthly Bookbug session with Lauren on the last Thursday of the month. This is for our children aged 3-5 and a parent/carer. It runs from 1:45pm – 2:30pm.
