{"id":1215,"date":"2022-12-01T15:24:35","date_gmt":"2022-12-01T15:24:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/bellsbankpsecc2017\/?p=1215"},"modified":"2022-12-01T15:27:42","modified_gmt":"2022-12-01T15:27:42","slug":"1215","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/bellsbankpsecc2017\/2022\/12\/01\/1215\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>_______________________________<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Sphere BOLTs<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">______________________________<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">East Ayrshire&#8217;s digital learning library has given Bellsbank the opportunity to explore the Sphere BOLTS as part of our digital literacy and coding curriculum.<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">We have introduced\u00a0<b><i><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Sphere BOLT<\/span><\/i><\/b>, a fully programmable and highly advanced technology into our curriculum this year which promotes coding and STEM principles through\u00a0<b><i class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">play-based learning<\/i><\/b>.<span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>As part of their mission, Sphere BOLT aims to empower all learners to use skills such as: exploration, imagination and perseverance.<span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>As an introduction to this new programming initiative we have encouraged children to explore the controls and manipulate their Sphere BOLT to navigate an obstacle course.<span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Our aim, in line with Sphere BOLT is to\u00a0<i class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">\u2018encourage the world\u2019s future Changemakers\u2019<\/i>\u00a0by fostering a love of robotics within our pupils as well as giving them the confidence to learn through trial and error methods.<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Its clear to see the children have enjoyed their first experience using these robots and I&#8217;m sure they&#8217;ve shot to the top of their Christmas Lists already!<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">G r e a t\u00a0 E x p l o r i n g\u00a0 E v e r y o n e !<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/h6>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" width=\"840\" height=\"552\" src=\"https:\/\/sway.office.com\/s\/ZDLkBXQMdj5sjaWh\/embed\" allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen msallowfullscreen ><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>_______________________________ Sphere BOLTs ______________________________ East Ayrshire&#8217;s digital learning library has given Bellsbank the opportunity to explore the Sphere BOLTS as part of our digital literacy and coding curriculum.
