School Sport Award

The sportscotland School Sport Award is a national, Lottery funded initiative designed to encourage schools to continuously improve physical education (PE) and school sport opportunities. The HWB Citizenship Group were asked to self-reflect on current performance. From this we created an action plan and addressed areas for improvement. We worked on these areas for development and submitted our final self-assessment in June 2016. In October we received our Gold award for excellent practice in PE and Sports opportunities. We celebrated in December with a whole school assembly and were officially awarded the flag.
