Welcome to Lochnorris from Cindy O’Driscoll, Head Teacher
Welcome to Lochnorris Primary and to our school blog. I have been lucky enough to have been Head Teacher of Lochnorris since before its opening in November 2020. Since then, it has been a privilege to get to know you and your children. I still look forward to the time when we are able to welcome you into the building properly to share our children’s learning and show off our fantastic new buidling which boasts an impressive interior, the latest technology and wonderful shared facilities. However, more important than the physical environment is the team of talented, hardworking individuals who are committed to supporting our children to reach their full potential.
I am incredibly lucky to be supported by a Senior Leadership Team and we also work closely with Peter Gilchrist, Head of Campus and Robert Burns Academy and the senior leaders from the other establishments to provide the best experience possible for our young people. Our Vision ‘Where we belong; where we reach our potential’ is driven by our shared aspiration of developing the Barony Campus so it becomes the most inclusive campus in Scotland. This is underpinned by our shared Values – Equity, Respect and Achievement – and we have many plans which will be implemented when restrictions allow.
