{"id":134,"date":"2020-12-03T09:43:46","date_gmt":"2020-12-03T09:43:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/assessmentandmoderation2020\/?p=134"},"modified":"2020-12-03T09:43:46","modified_gmt":"2020-12-03T09:43:46","slug":"education-scotland-supporting-collaboration-for-planning-learning-teaching-and-assessment-sessions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/assessmentandmoderation2020\/2020\/12\/03\/education-scotland-supporting-collaboration-for-planning-learning-teaching-and-assessment-sessions\/","title":{"rendered":"Education Scotland Supporting Collaboration for Planning Learning, Teaching and Assessment sessions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NIF Team is hosting sessions for practitioners to hear a short input from Education Scotland relating to the Planning Learning, Teaching, Assessment and Moderation Cycle; Assessment in the BGE 2020\/21 guidance and Assessment within the BGE: a thematic inspection. *<br \/>\nThese sessions will also include practitioners from across Scotland sharing current approaches to planning learning, teaching and assessment in their establishments.<br \/>\nThese include a focus on:<br \/>\nEarly level \u2013 numeracy and STEM\u00a0 and play-based literacy skills<\/p>\n<p>First Level \u2013 learner voice and a school\u2019s journey following inspection<\/p>\n<p>Second level &#8211; planning across the four contexts and novel studies to develop higher order reading skills<\/p>\n<p>Third level\/Fourth Level \u2013 rubrics for providing feedback to learners<\/p>\n<p>The second part of the session will provide opportunities for reflection and allow participants to share practice in smaller breakout discussions.<\/p>\n<p>These sessions will take place via Microsoft Teams on Glow.
