center\">______________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Our right of the Month for February is&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Article 32<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">You have the right to protection from work that harms you, is bad for your health and education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">We learned about children around the world who have to leave school early and get a job that could be dangerous, like working in a landfill to sort rubbish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">______________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Our right of the Month for December and January\u00a0is&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Article 26<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">You have the right to help from the government if you are poor or in need.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">We thought about why some people might need help from the government, they might be old or ill.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">We also thought of ways we could support them, with Christmas coming up we thought about charities that we could support.\u00a0 Primary 3 told us about their amazing project they did learning about and collecting for the food bank.\u00a0 These are small, simple ways we can help others.\u00a0 &#8216;Tis the season for giving after all!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">______________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Our Right of the month for November is&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Article 24<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">In assembly this month we learned about the NHS and how we, in Scotland, have access to free healthcare 24\/7.\u00a0 We also learned about how some children in other parts of the world have to walk for miles and miles to see a doctor.\u00a0 They might be sick because of the lack of clean drinking water.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">______________________<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Our Right of the Month for October is&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Article 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I have the right to a name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/annanhillprimaryschool\/files\/2018\/10\/name.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3127\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/annanhillprimaryschool\/files\/2018\/10\/name-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">At assembly this month we learned about the right to have a name.\u00a0 That is something we all take for granted but we were shocked when we learned that millions of children around the world don&#8217;t have a legal name, they weren&#8217;t registered at birth and that means that they don&#8217;t exist in the eyes of some governments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">In class some of us have been learning about what our name means.\u00a0 Our names are special to us and we are very glad that we have them!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">______________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Our Right of the Month for September is&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Article 42<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I have the right to know my rights.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Adults should know my rights and help me learn about them.<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/annanhillprimaryschool\/files\/2018\/10\/right.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3128\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/annanhillprimaryschool\/files\/2018\/10\/right-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">At Annanhill we celebrate the UN CRC at special assemblies every month where the children get to explore a different right each month.\u00a0 The teachers all talk about that right in class during the month and some classes do special lessons to explore the right as part of our health and wellbeing work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">When asked at the assembly what rights the children knew they were able to tell us lots of different ones.\u00a0 The RRS Committee were very impressed!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">______________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The pupil group met yesterday and have come up with some fun ways to explore the right to play and relax in the classes.\u00a0 We have given this out to teachers and are looking forward to seeing how the is&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Article 31<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">We learned about this right in assembly this week and we all agree that with the right to play all of us have a responsibility to play fairly and respectfully.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">At Annanhill we have lots of exciting opportunities to take part in play activities and especially to take part in cultural and artistic activities.\u00a0 This has really made our curriculum more exciting and we love the different activities we get to do that we might not normally!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Don&#8217;t forget to\u00a0check this month&#8217;s display in the culture, language and religion &#8211; or any you choose.\u00a0 Minority and indigenous groups need special protection of this right.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">We learned about this right in assembly\u00a0at the start of the month.\u00a0 We learned how to say hello in lots of different languages and we found out that there are many different languages spoken here in Annanhill!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">We also learned that as well as having the right to practice our own language, culture and religion we have a responsibility to respect the language
