We were learning about our lungs today and about the very important job they do in our bodies. Mrs Howie made a model lung and also used a balloon to show us how our lungs work, and how the mucus in our bodies protects them.
We made up a jigsaw of our lungs and labelled the main parts.

Wider achievements
Harper and Sophia were very busy at dancing competitions over the weekend. Well done to both girls as they collected trophies for their fabulous performances. Congratulations girls 🎉
Making mucus
Today we were learning about the importance of mucus in our bodies and how it protects us from pollution in the air. We made our own mucus and watched the reactions with different kinds of pollution.

Be bright! Be Seen Disco

Nursing home visit

Today we visited the residents in Springhill Care Home. We had good fun, we played with balloons and bubbles, as well as making playdoh fireworks and fireworks pictures.
Evie got to have special cuddles with her great gran too.
It was a lovely afternoon and the residents enjoyed our visit. We can’t wait to go again.
