Today we had PC Weston in to speak with us all about her job in the Police.
We loved getting to see inside the police car, hear the radio and get to hear about being a Police Officer.
This morning we were doing lots of measuring activities- we got to measure with cubes, straws and paper clips.
During PE we were learning all about badminton. We played a few warm up activities before we were getting the chance to use balloons to practise our technique. We moved on to using shuttlecocks. They were flying everywhere- some were describing them as rockets!!
Lots of fun in the gym hall today.
Mrs Haggerty
Today we were learning all about the time of o’clock. We heard a story and a song –
We had lots of ways to remember o’clock. Some of us shared our favourite times of the day with o’clock in it.
J – 5 o’clock is my favourite as it is dinner time.
A – 7 o’clock is mine as it is bed time.
K – 9 o’clock is great cause it is school time.
Today we started to learn all about Time with Mrs Haggerty.
We were learning about our daily routines and remembering there is an order to our day. We watched a wee video clip – Clip about routine Our job was to draw our daily routine.
Afterwards we started with days of the week – we enjoyed singing the days to the Addams Family song. Days Of The Week Addams Family

Mrs Haggerty
We were learning all about 2d shapes with Mrs Haggerty. We got to explore lots of shapes, heard some songs and then made patterns.
Square, circle, triangle, rectangle, pentagon and hexagon were our shapes.

Today (2nd September) we were learning about coding with Mrs Haggerty. We got to use Beebots and give them instructions. This is a code.
The buttons are very important as they give the Beebot the message/code on where to go.
