Hallowe’en Fun

We have been having lots of fun this week.
we have played pass the witch’s hat and when the music stops you have to try to sound out a cvc word, eg. red, man, etc.

We have been counting out amounts larger than 10, using spooky hallowe’en beasties.

Some other activities have included making paper plate pumpkins and frankensteins as well as bubbly paint cauldrons and skeletons! We got to practise colour mixing through making our own potions too!

Autumn Walk

We had great fun looking at the signs of autumn on our walk to Annanhill park. We got a quick play at the play park too!
We even saw a cheeky squirrel climbing the trees before we came back to school!

Sounds

We have started our first set of sounds- a t s i p n.
We are encouraging the children to recognise, form the letter properly, say  and identify the sound in words. Ask the children about the song and action for each new song.
