P1 have been exploring and talking about how water is used in everyday life. We have been using the scientific vocabulary ‘melting’, ‘freezing’ and ‘boiling’ to explain what happens to water. The children had great fun experimenting with cold and hot water or salt to make the ice melt. The children also had super suggestions about how to save water. One suggestion was using a bucket to collect rain water and use it to water the plants.<\/p>\n

During art, we used watercolour paint to make ‘Rain on a Window’ artwork.<\/p>\n
