Dear Parent\/Carer,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We are delighted to be able to confirm the arrangements for the forthcoming school closure days.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>For the purposes of<\/span><\/span>\u00a0online learning, we have split all pupils into the following\u00a0stages: P1, P2\/3, P4\/5 and P6\/7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Learning each day will be delivered via a stage specific daily\u00a0<\/span>Thingink<\/span>\u00a0(tomorrow’s link at the end).\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0<\/span>Thinglink<\/span>\u00a0contains all links, activities, recorded content, the joining codes for all live sessions and methods for communicating with staff for support if required.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Each stage will be able to participate in minimum of 2 live sessions each\u00a0<\/span><\/span>day .<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 Each live session is\u00a0specific to a stage and delivered by EAC staff.\u00a0 The live sessions are fully interactive and don\u2019t need resources,\u00a0just our pupils willing to participate and have fun.\u00a0 All live sessions will be hosted on our\u00a0<\/span>Vscene<\/span>\u00a0platform.\u00a0 The school will text each parent\u00a0a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>pincode<\/span><\/span>\u00a0which is unique to\u00a0their child\u2019s\u00a0stage and allows access to the live sessions, this\u00a0<\/span><\/span>pincode<\/span><\/span>\u00a0will be the same for each stages\u2019 live session\u00a0for the four days.\u00a0 The links are specific to the session and accessed via the daily\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Thinglink<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Within our\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Thinglinks<\/span><\/span>\u00a0are also a range of methods to\u00a0access\u00a0support.\u00a0 We have at least 2 members of staff at each live session and staff available to offer remote support related to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Thinglinks<\/span><\/span>\u00a0throughout the day.\u00a0 Within the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Thinglinks<\/span><\/span>\u00a0pupils can complete a support\u00a0<\/span><\/span>form<\/span><\/span>\u00a0which staff will monitor between 9am and 3pm each day and respond as quickly as they can, there is also a parental feedback form.\u00a0 We also have a monitored\u00a0email\u00a0address:\u00a0<\/span><\/span>eavirtualclassroom_support@eastayrshire.org.uk<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0this can be used by pupils or parents as required, we\u2019d also love to see work (if you are happy for this to be shared on social\u00a0<\/span>media<\/span>\u00a0please note this).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
