On Wednesday 14th June Mrs Waugh & Ms McCulloch will take\u00a0 a group of 12 children to Edinburgh as Loanhead Primary School has been invited to the First Minister’s Reading Challenge Celebration.\u00a0 The school has actively participated in this incentive to encourage children to read more and thus raise attainment.\u00a0 We are thrilled to be have received this invitation!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Many children have enthusiastically participated in Loanhead Primary School Connect 4 Reading Challenge and in the First Minister’s Reading Challenge but unfortunately could not attend the event in Edinburgh.\u00a0 To celebrate their achievement a ‘Book Bash’ has been organised and children who have achieved their personal target will be invited to the event on Thursday 15th June 2017 at 3-4pm.\u00a0 The theme is ‘Reading is Magic’.<\/p>\n
