Attendance at school is a National and Local priority.\u00a0 This is because non attendance has such a high impact on children’s progress not just academically but socially and emotionally also. The illustration below captures what absence looks like.<\/p>\n

To assist parents to be aware of the percentage their child has been attending, a text will be sent out at the beginning of each week,\u00a0 starting this week, with the overall attendance for every pupil.\u00a0 Parents of any pupil falling below 90% should contact the school to speak with Mrs Milne to discuss supporting their child’s attendance.<\/p>\n

Please note that the earlier in the term that your child is absent, the bigger impact that will be seen on the percentage attendance.<\/p>\n
