Dear parents\/carers,<\/p>\n

Did you know?<\/em><\/p>\n

69% of our food waste here in East Ayrshire is being put in our household waste bin instead of our food recycling bin.<\/p>\n

We are delighted to advise that your child\u2019s school will be participating in East Ayrshire\u2019s Food Recycling Initiative \u2018Dinnae forget your Caddy!\u2019\u00a0 The aim of the programme is to raise awareness of the food items that can be recycled and encourage more families across our community to recycle their food waste at home between February and June 2026.<\/p>\n
