Walk to School Week
Change of Date – Sports Day
In order to give parents as much notice as possible, due to the prediction of heavy rain on Wednesday, (22nd May) we have decided to delay Sports Day. This will now take place on Friday 24th May when the weather should be drier. Any further updates will be sent out via the School App as soon as possible.
This will also change the theme of the Wednesday’s walk to school to crazy hair and on Friday the theme will be sports attire.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Thank you
Parking Plea P7S
This is the first in a series of letters written by each class in the school.
Pupils want to highlight their concerns with regards the car park particularly in the afternoon. These concerns have been raised by pupils to the pupil council representatives, eco committee members and the right respecting group. In every query, pupils from every class asked these committees to help and to see if there was anything that the group could do to help sort it out. Parents have also raised the issue with the Parent Council.
The children are passionate about their school, their friends and their safety and this is reflected in the letters they have written.

Walk to School Week
Walk to School Week
From the 20th to the 24th May is Walk to School Week and the school’s Eco-committee and pupils would really like for as many families to join in as possible. Each day they have decided on and extra element of fun to add in.
P7 Residential
The Primary 7 children left this morning for their residential at Ford Castle in Northumberland. They have lots of great activities planned and will have a busy time.
For parents of children who are on the residential trip:
They have arrived safely and please look out for the email link sent out at approximately 8 p.m. daily with photos from the day.
Reminder Dress Down
On the 14th May we are celebrating diversity. The over arching theme is we all have strengths and talents so we need to be kind towards each other and respectful of our differences.
We will be having a dress down day on this date. Please remember that as with all dress down days no football strips should be worn. This includes local, team, national or international strips.
Important Reminder
When dropping off and collecting children from the school please ensure that no dog is brought into the grounds. This is to ensure the health and safety for all, especially those with severe allergies. We appreciate your co-operation and understanding on this matter. Thank you.
