Lost Property

We have lots of lost property ready to be reclaimed every day from 3pm until next Friday (6th September). This is laid out on tables in the corridor leading to the gym hall. Parents/ carers should come in the door to the left of the main entrance to the school. Any left unclaimed will be disposed of.

Welcome Back to School

All of the staff are excited to see our young people returning to school, meeting our new families and seeing how everyone has grown over the summer break. We look forward to catching up with all of your news and seeing those fantastic smiles when school starts.  See you soon!

Galston’s Got Talent

  What An Amazing Morning!

This morning the Primary 7 House Captains brought together all of the auditioning and debating to host our Galston’s Got Talent.  With our very own Ant and Dec (1 – Robbie & 2 – Josh), Simon Cowell (Zach), Amanda Holden (Lottie), Alesha Dixon (Freya) and Bruno Tonioli (Jamie) leading us through, a wonderful time was had.  The acts were fantastic, and we saw everything from gymnastics and dance to singing and football.  From the smallest age group to the oldest we were thoroughly entertained.

Thank you to everyone who took part and auditioned last week.  You are all stars!!

Prize Giving Service

We were immensely proud of our children and young people who were celebrating all of their hard work, effort, progress and positive attitudes today.

Primary Ones looked so grown up and confident receiving their certificates and books.  All of the pupils, from all of the classes, receiving Certificates of Achievement displayed the school values very well, as did our whole pupil body as they sang and contributed to the ceremony this morning.  Primary 7 and their performance blew everyone away and we are so proud of them as they move on in their education journey.

Many sincere thanks go to Mrs Morton, Mr Hewitson, Mr Deas, Mrs Foster, Mr Banks and our very own Mrs Campbell who handed out prizes, certificates, special awards and ties.  You were an integral part of the ceremony and our celebrations.

Thank you to all of the helpers who walked with the children to and from the church.  We cannot do without your stalwart help.

Finally thank you to all of the parents and carers who attended today and helped us celebrate the pupils of Galston Primary.

Work Well, Gang Faur
