P6 & 7 Football Trials

Galston Primary School, in conjunction with your Active Schools Coordinator, have organised Football Trials for P6/P7 pupils to form our school football team. The trials will take place during the school day on Wednesday 3rd September.  The trials will be held outdoors (weather dependent)  please ensure the children bring kit for both outside  and inside.

After School Arts and Crafts Club

Galston Primary School will be running an Arts and Crafts Club for P6 and P7 pupils. This will be an 6 week club after school on a Monday from 3pm to 4pm starting on Monday 17th February. If you would like your child to attend please complete the form below and submit it to the school by 3pm on 12/2/25. This club will be limited to 10 places and places will be allocated by ballot. Parents will be notified if their child has been successful in securing a place.

Family Craft

You are invited to attend a Family Craft Session at Galston Primary on Tuesday 3rd December from 3:15 – 4:15pm. This is open to pupils in all classes however all children must be accompanied by one parent/carer. This event is limited to 50 pupils and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Galston Primary School, in conjunction with the  Jissen Ryu Karate , have organised a Karate Club for P5, P6 and P7 pupils. The club will take place after school on a Thursday from 3pm – 4pm on 28th November and 5th December.

After School Club – Girl’s Football

Our Girl’s Football Skills Club is on after school every Wednesday from 3pm until 4pm. This club is fun based and suitable for all abilities and participants do not require any equipment to take part. The club is led by Kilmarnock Ladies Football Team player Holly Kerrigan who has a wealth of football knowledge and skills that she shares during the session. Holly is assisted by Mrs Willsden and they have many fun activities arranged for the the club in the next few weeks.
