The Polar Express

Primary 1 and 1/2 had a fantastic journey this morning on the Polar Express.  They travelled all the way to the North Pole (in their imaginations) with the very real conductor who served up hot chocolate and cookies.  Their tickets were punched and the activities when they got there were fantastic.  For some of the children they said it was the “Best Day Ever!”

Primary 4S

‘🥳P4S has met their next class point target!🥳
At the beginning of the year the class agreed on their rewards and goals. This time, our reward is a movie afternoon with a cuddly toy.
After lunch on THURSDAY 19TH DECEMBER the class will be watching ‘The Grinch’ (2018) (rated U) with some snacks that will be provided. Children do not need to bring in their own snacks and all allergies will be accounted for.
This is not a dress down day for our class, however children are welcome to wear their Christmas jumpers and slippers if they wish.
If you have any questions or do not wish for your child to take part, please get in touch by Wednesday 18th.
Thank you! 🎄

Coffee and Carols

WOW!!  £2184 raised!!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Nativity and Christmas Concert. We raised a huge amount that will go towards providing our pupils with valuable learning experiences within the school.
The pupils were absolutely amazing and did us proud.
Hamper Winners were announced this morning and everyone has been contacted.
Just a reminder that we close at 2.30 on Friday 20th December. All pupils who go home in a bus or taxi will be collected from school at 2pm.
Thank you again for your continued support throughout the year.
We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and we will see you all on Monday 6th January at 9am.

Christmas Service Help Wanted

Our Christmas Service is on Thursday 19th December at Galston Parish Church and as always we require parent helpers to help walk the children to and from the church . We will be leaving the school at 9:15 am and returning as soon as the service is finished. If we do not get enough helpers we will not be able to have our Christmas service at the church. Helpers can walk with any class. Please call the school office ASAP if you can help on this occasion.
