Dear Families,

Following feedback from our Parent Council, we wanted to remind our school community the Family Bingo event on Tuesday 17 Sept 6pm – 7.30pm is for EVERYONE.

The event is child friendly and we most certainly would love to see our young people attending, dancing and winning prizes for their classmates!

Sign up NOW for an evening of fun for the full family!

Welcome to Primary 2

Primary 2 and Primary 2/1  2024-2025
We hope that you are settling in and enjoying being back at school with your friends. Mrs Carten, Miss Ellis and Mrs Saxelby are looking forward to an exciting year full of new learning experiences and fun!
PE Days
P2C Mrs Carten – Tuesday and Wednesday
P2E Miss Ellis – Tuesday and Wednesday
P2/1S Mrs Saxelby – Tuesday and Thursday
Please bring a change of shoes and shorts for PE, clearly labelled in a bag to be kept in school.
Library
Our library day this year is a Thursday. Each week children have the opportunity to choose a book to read for enjoyment at home.
Outdoor Learning
This year our outdoor learning will take place on a Friday. At the moment learning will take place within the school grounds, all that is needed is a jacket suitable for the weather. As we move into the year we hope to explore further, at this time a change of shoes will be needed. From time to time our outdoor days need to change as the weather is not always kind to us. We will keep you informed of any changes on the BLOG.
At the moment children are consolidating learning from P1. We aim to start homework the week beginning 9th September.
Should you have any questions or concerns please contact the school office to arrange a time to discuss your query.
