We hope you all received your child’s homework pack last week, if for some reason it never made it home let the class teacher know.
Please keep consolidating common words and sounds from stage 1 this really helps with reading fluency.

Maths – So far in P2 we have covered pattern and shape. Here are a few games your child may like,

This week (9/9) pupils will be issued with a homework pack containing letter and number formation sheets as well as a consolidation booklet from P1 which will help you to reinforce the common words we are working on in class. This does not need to be returned to school.

 

We have also included phoneme cards that will correspond with our current learning and you will find word lists on this page (updated weekly).

Stage 1

We are currently consolidating sh and ch as well as common words from stage 1. We do not require homework to be handed in weekly but for those who wish to do so it can be done so on a Monday. If you require a jotter please let the class teacher know.

Reading

Pupils will be issued with new Bug Club books and games which can be accessed from the tab above. Your young learner will be given a new password sheet this week (9/9). Please let the class teacher know if you have any issues and we will do our best to help.
