Your spelling words are in your jotter again. Please write them out neatly 3 times.

Write a sentence for each one – please remember your capital letters, full stops and neat letter formation.

Your maths sheet is all about  Place Value, this is what we are doing in class just now.

Please complete the worksheet and return it to school with your homework jotter on Monday.

We have a litter pick this Friday for P3C and P3R and on Monday for P3H. Let’s all help keep our school and community tidy and clean.

Welcome to our blog in Primary 3. Here you will find information on your gym times, class information and your weekly homework.

Homework will be issued on a Tuesday and we ask that it is returned by the following Monday.

Literacy Homework

Your spelling words will be in your jotter. Please write these out 3 times and write a sentence for each of them.

Reading books will be assigned via Bug Club. Your log in details will be provided this week.

Numeracy Homework

This will usually be a worksheet to be completed and returned with your spelling words the following Monday.

Gym Times

P3C and P3R are on Wednesdays and Fridays

P3H is on Thursdays and Fridays

Please wear shorts and appropriate trainers or soft shoes for gym. Jewellery should not be worn and earrings should be removed before gym – if your child cannot do this, earrings can be taped in school prior to the gym time.

 

 

School will finish at 1pm on Friday.

Monday 9th June : Onthank’s Got Talent ⭐️

Tuesday 10th June: Remember to dress in your finery for someone’s secret birthday celebration. 🤫 You will need to order your lunch online to get the special party box but just choose any option offered as catering could not alter the choices online. Packed lunches can still be sent in if preferred.

Wednesday 11th June: P7 Fun Day – P2 slot is 10.45-11.45 and there will be an opportunity to visit in the afternoon. See below for more details.

Thursday 12th June : Sports Day for P2 at 9.30am. If weather is wet we will move the races indoors. 🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏽‍♂️

Outdoor Learning – we are making the most of the lovely weather we are having and taking lots of our learning outdoors. Many of the children are bringing in hats and sunglasses, which is encouraged, but please ensure they are labelled.

We are going to the Farm Park next week (22/5) please see email.

Due to the short school week we will not be introducing a new joined phoneme – this means no homework!
