We have been enjoying learning about the COP26 event in Glasgow and really interested about the climate crisis.\u00a0 We watched a clip from David Attenborough’s “Frozen Planet” and discussed his impact statement about melting ice caps:<\/p>\n

In the past 30 years, we’ve seen these effects of global warming escalate: areas of Arctic sea ice<\/b> have melted that is larger than Norway, Sweden and Denmark combined. Summer sea ice in the Arctic has reduced by 40% in 40 years.<\/h2>\n

We created these polar bear images in response to the climate crisis, using water colours and black markers.<\/p>\n

This links with Article 12 from the UNCRC “Every child has the right to have a say in all matters affecting them, and to have their views taken seriously”.<\/p>\n
