\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>As part of our learning around \u201cThe Boy At Ghe Back Of The Class\u201d by Onjali Q Ra\u00faf, we investigated attitudes towards refugees both in the news and in popular culture.<\/p>\n

We read Bill Bilston\u2019s poem \u201cRefugees\u201d which when read from bottom to top has a different meaning from reading top to bottom.<\/p>\n

We used our class colours of the world pencils and crayons to create drawings of an Afghan refugee girl, and wrote the poem inside her Hijab.<\/p>\n
