Our P7s decided that our motto should<br \/>\nbecome \u2018Be the Best\u2019. We also work closely with<br \/>\nour community and Together we aim to \u2018Let<br \/>\nWigtown Flourish\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Vision<br \/>\nThat pupils, staff and parents work actively<br \/>\ntogether encouraging all children to develop skills<br \/>\nfor life, which will enable them to make<br \/>\nresponsible choices and achieve their full<br \/>\npotential.<br \/>\n(Be the Best)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Aims<br \/>\nWe aim to provide children with opportunities that<br \/>\nhelp them to become:<br \/>\n&#8211; Successful learners<br \/>\n&#8211; Confident Individuals<br \/>\n&#8211; Effective Contributors<br \/>\n&#8211; Responsible Citizens<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Possible vehicles for this include: organisation of<br \/>\nlearning, masterclasses, PLPs, house groups, Eco,<br \/>\nPupil Voice, Fairtrade, STEM, outdoor learning,<br \/>\nenterprise, interdisciplinary learning, UNCRC,<br \/>\nScotland\u2019s Book Town and Festival week, Reading<br \/>\nPassports, transition activities and community<br \/>\ninvolvement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Values<br \/>\nThe key values that we believe will help us to<br \/>\nachieve this are:<br \/>\n&#8211; Self-belief<br \/>\n&#8211; Ownership of Learning<br \/>\n&#8211; Honesty<br \/>\n&#8211; Co-operation<br \/>\n&#8211; Respect<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>School Motto &#8216;Be the Best&#8217; Vision, Values and Aims We review our aims yearly but in 2019 we reviewed our Vision, Values and Aims with pupils, parents and staff.
