Our current class novel is the The Uninvited by Ross Mackenzie. It starts off at the Calanais Standing Stones – Isle of Lewis and we have been has exploring the setting.  We have used the story as inspiration for our own “Through The Curtain at Calanais Standing Stones” descriptive writing which involved looking at a Wagolls and spending time creating and planning using 7 descriptive bubbles.
