Mathsticks
“The site offers to support teachers, students, parents, carers and children develop their mathematical teaching and learning.The fundamental aim is to make learning meaningful (and to make maths stick!). The materials, strategies and activities here are based on the need for children to be fully involved in their learning; to have fun, and to enjoy and achieve while developing their mathematical skills.” Create an account to access lots of FREE resources. You can also pay for a Mathstick+ premium account to access even more resources including downloadable e-books. As at May 2018 costs are: individual membership £22 per year or £32 for two years; annual school membership 2-8 teachers £16 per teacher or 9+ teachers for £10 per teacher.

Doodle Maths
“Every learner has their own unique Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) – the narrow band that is the difference between what a learner can do without help, and what he or she can do with help. DoodleMaths identifies this zone and creates a daily-practice work program based around it, filling in gaps and ensuring continual progression.” Has an app to support general maths development plus one specifically targeting times tables. Designed to work on tablets but also can be used on PCs. Basic package is FREE to teachers and parents, but need to pay for the premium version which provides greater tracking of pupils progress.

United Kingdom Mathematics Trust
“The UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) is a registered charity whose aim is to advance the education of children and young people in mathematics. The UKMT organises national mathematics competitions and other mathematical enrichment activities for 11-18 year old UK school pupils. ”
