Donald Tump news article (First news)

We read a news article in the first news newspaper which is for children all about Donald Trump the new president of the United States of America. We have found that some people don’t really think he will be a good president because they don’t believe in him. Also some people have started a protest because they don’t like him. We also read that he is worth about $3.2 million dollars. Some people wanted Hillary Clinton to be president but unfortunately she got voted out and a lot of people across the globe were pretty disappointed. We are thankful that we are not in any protests with people who think the opposite of others opinions. We really liked this article and want to find out lots more about it.

somethings that we have been learning in p7

We went on the computer and used an online word search maker to help with our spelling. So we wrote our words in a box then we click the finished button then mixed it all up for us. Then we printed it. Then we had to find our words.

In P7 for math we have been doing 3D shapes. We have made our own 3d shapes such as a cylinder and a triangular based pyramid.

Turtle Training

In P7 we have been reading some first news newspapers, We get new issues every week. In this weeks newspaper we read a story about people training a turtle to loose weight and to follow voice commands, in the last couple of months it has already lost a couple of hundred kg. The trainer said he is doing really well even though he has only been in training for a little while and he is already learned some voice commands.

Netball League

We have been practicing netball for the netball league. Other schools netball teams have been visiting and competing against our school. This club was open for P5,P6 and P7.We also have school netball kits they look way cool! 🙂

Lincluden and two teams from Cargenbridge soon we will be visiting them too!

We would like to thank Andrea our netball coach for teaching us and helping us to compete against other schools!

Football

On Sunday a few boys in P7 went to Palmerston Arena to play against adults. It was a really hard game, we didn’t know what the score was though so we called it a draw. After half time we mixed up the teams a little bit – some of the adults joined our team and some of the boys joined there team. Its was just as difficult after we changed the teams .

Recently on Wednesday 18th of January 2017 the St.Ninians netball team played against Lochside Primary. They were very talented and kind we are hoping to see them in future competitions. 🙂
