St Ninian's Chatterbox

Dream, believe, achieve and enjoy!

Purple Day!

The Charity group at St. Ninian’s Primary School have been fundraising to help children beat cancer. The children chose this cause after finding out that every week two more children in Scotland will be diagnosed with cancer. More than two thirds of those children will be treated in wards 2A and 2B at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.

We raised money by dressing in purple, selling purple bands and hosting an amazing bake sale. Thanks to everyone who contributed by donating baking or coming along to the event itself.  The turn-out was brilliant. Even Kami the Bear made a welcome appearance. At last count we had raised £800 which is a phenomenal amount of money. So thank you all.

The Charity Group.
