Fiona visited Primary 3/4 to help them learn all about where food comes from.

We had a fantastic opportunity to watch wheat being ground into flour and double cream being shaken into butter. The children each had a turn on shaking the pot of cream until it became lovely creamy butter. It was quite difficult but a lot of fun!

We even got to taste the butter we had made and everyone agreed that it was very tasty.
