A few days after our brilliant trip, P4 wrote all about their experience.  Here are some examples of their excellent written work.  Didn’t they do a great job.  Some of us might become Trip advisor experts!

P4’s terrific trip to the roman army museum and Vindolanda

Excitingly, on Friday 28th of April, me and my class went on a school trip one hour and thirty minutes away in England. I was bored on the bus.

Initially, we arrived at the Roman Army museum. After that, we went in a dark room and had a roman teach us. He was called Villious. Then we went to watch a 3D movie.

Later, we arrived at Vindolanda where we had a talk from a lovely lady called Penny. Penny made us curious because she asked us to guess what room we were in. It was the butchers. Then Penny showed us a cow’s shoulder blade which was used for target practise by the soldiers.

Half an hour later we had lunch and the robins joined us. Then we went to the museum there and then we bought stuff at the gift shop. Then a long journey home!

Excitingly, P4 went on an amazing school trip. First we got on the bus. It was ‘boring’. We eventually got there. The museum was fun. We got to watch a 3d movie. Then we got on the bus and went to Vindolanda. It was awesome! We got a talk from Penny about Vindolanda. In English it means white hills. We went to eat lunch and two robins joined us. We played on the forts and then finally we went home.

P4’s terrific trip to the Roman army museum and Vindolanda

On Friday 28th of April my class and I went to the Roman Army Museum. Before that we travelled on the bus for one and a half hours. Finally we arrived at the museum. First of all we were taught by Vilius. He taught us about Latin. After that we got to look around the museum. Later we got to watch a 3D movie.  Later on we got on a bus to get to Vindolanda. When we gor there we went to the fountain. I loved its beauty. Finally, the woman got there and taught us about Roman things and archaeologists.   Finally she stopped talking and let us go for lunch!

After lunch I went to the gift shop. I bought a rubbery pen and some rings. After that we went to the museum. It was interesting. Finally we got to play for 10 minutes then we went home.

P4’s amazing trip to Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum!!!

It all started when I got to school. I was just on time. Then we done the register. Then we went outside. We were waiting on the bus. It came eventually. We got on and I got my A4 drawing pad out. After that, I got my Peter Rabbit activity book out. Eventually, we got to the Roman Army Museum.

We went to a little classroom. Villious our teacher gave us a scroll. After that we had a look around. First I was looking at the food. I saw a dead bird. I touched it !!!!!!

We did some cool stuff like there was an arrow and a cool room.

Next, we went to Vindolanda. We met a woman called Penny. We talked about Romans and then we had lunch. After that, we looked at some cool stuff then we went to the museum and gift shop.

P4’s phenomenal trip to Vindolanda and the Roman museum

The bus trip to the Roman Army museum was an hour and a half long. It was worth the time it took to get there. Here is a list of what we did. We were taught by Vilious. Vilious talked for a while boringly. Later we watched a terrific movie. I got a bit of a fright when I saw a tree coming out of the screen. Then we went to Vindolanda.

The fountain which we visited first was beautiful. The stone carvings were fantastic! There was a headless stone woman. Next, Penny came. Penny took us to a Roman butcher’s shop. Then we had lunch. I was so relieved that it was lunch time. Then we went to a fort. The boys were Romans. Then we went home.
