P7 had an exciting time yesterday, at Operation Safety. We learned about First Aid, internet safety, fire risks/safety in the home, safety with bonfires and fireworks, where electricity comes from and how to be safe around indoors and outdoors. It was a fantastic experience. We finished with finding out what happens when a tiny amount of water is put on a burning chip pan. It was shocking!

Mrs Mc and I were extremely proud of the exemplary behaviour our children showed. They were outstanding and we told them so. A big thank you to Mrs Brown for coming with us.

Contact the fire service if you would like smoke alarms to be fitted in your home for free.

P7 – 5 points for answering the following question:

In relation to First Aid, what does ABC stand for?
