It was a truly special visit and a wonderful way to extend our Scots learning beyond the classroom. \u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The children performed a selection of their Scots poems, as well as the Scots songs they had been practising, and they did so with great confidence and bravery. Performing in a new environment can be daunting, but every pupil rose to the challenge and represented our school beautifully. \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The residents were delighted by the performances and showed their appreciation with big smiles, kind words, and warm applause. It was clear how much our visit meant to them, and it was lovely to see such a meaningful connection between generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are incredibly proud of how respectful, confident, and caring our pupils were throughout the visit.
