{"id":5985,"date":"2026-02-01T16:02:55","date_gmt":"2026-02-01T16:02:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/stjosephsprimary\/?p=5985"},"modified":"2026-02-01T16:02:55","modified_gmt":"2026-02-01T16:02:55","slug":"%f0%9f%8e%b5-soundtrap-music-sessions-with-p5-7-%f0%9f%8e%a7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/stjosephsprimary\/?p=5985","title":{"rendered":"\ud83c\udfb5 Soundtrap Music Sessions with P5\u20137 \ud83c\udfa7"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We were delighted to welcome the Soundtrap team into our P5\u20137 class for the first of a series of music sessions on Tuesday 20th January and it was a huge hit! \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the session, pupils were introduced to Soundtrap, an online music and audio platform that allows them to create, record, and edit music digitally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We started by working together as a class to create a shared song. Pupils explored different sounds, beats, and instruments, learning how tracks can be built up layer by layer. There was lots of discussion, experimenting, and listening to each other\u2019s ideas &#8211; brilliant teamwork all round \ud83c\udfb6<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, pupils had the chance to experiment independently, creating their own music and sound clips.
