This year\u2019s theme is Anti\u2011Bullying Week 2025: \u201cPower for Good\u201d &#8211; the idea that each of us has the ability to make positive change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To mark our start, the <em>majority of the school<\/em> came in wearing odd socks &#8211; what a wonderful sight it was! The odd socks pictured our message that we\u2019re all different, we\u2019re all unique, and that is <em>something to celebrate<\/em>. We reminded ourselves that differences are good, and inclusion and kindness matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our afternoon assembly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We watched the Odd Sock song and some thought-provoking videos about bullying and what that really means.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We discussed what counts as bullying: we reminded the pupils that <em>bullying is repeated behaviour that happens over time and creates an imbalance of power<\/em>. It\u2019s not just a one-off falling-out with friends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, in our assembly groups, children worked through scenarios to decide whether they showed bullying or not \u2013 and <em>why<\/em>. They asked excellent questions and showed strong understanding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the group work, everyone designed their own odd socks to show what makes them unique. Then we took a fantastic photo of all of our odd socks today!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a meaningful, fun, and thoughtful way to begin the week \u2013 and already the children are showing how they can use their own \u201cPower for Good\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf0d <strong>UNCRC Links<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Article
