Each day we’ll check the rainfall and wind direction, record our findings and, at the end of the week, turn our data into colourful graphs and charts. 📊🌧️💨

Our STEM Leaders also planned and ran a fantastic outdoor maths session for the whole school:

Danielle led the traffic survey, where children worked in pairs to tally the colours of cars passing the school. Danielle even designed the recording tables herself on Word – amazing work! 🚗🚙

Nanci-Rose and Ava G led a fun symmetry challenge, where pairs laid a skipping rope as a “mirror line” and drew shapes in chalk for their partner to copy and match. 🎨✏️

The playground was full of teamwork, thinking and problem-solving as pupils learned that maths is all around us – and it can be active and exciting too.
