This year\u2019s council members are Myra, Ross, Robin, Ebony, Aria-Lydia, Lucas, Rebecca and Jensen, with Ava W as our Rights Respecting Schools Co-ordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting focused on two main areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udccb Pupil Consultation Feedback<\/strong><br>Over the last few weeks our council gathered views from every class on what\u2019s going well in school and any ideas for improvement. At the meeting, members discussed themes such as healthy eating, playground safety, outdoor learning and ways to make our school even more inclusive. Actions have been set for pupils and staff to work on together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2b50 Rights Respecting Schools<\/strong><br> We discussed any updates on our Rights Respecting Schools work. The council reviewed September\u2019s Right of the Month (Article 26 \u2013 the right to social and economic help) and discussed how to keep pupils\u2019 rights and voices at the centre of school life. We also talked about steps towards achieving our RRSA Gold Award later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a lively and positive meeting, with lots of pupil voice and ideas for the future. discussed how support works in our school and community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Article 29 \u2013 Goals of Education<\/strong><br>By planning actions for health, safety and inclusion, the council helps shape an education that develops every child\u2019s talents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SHANARRI Indicators:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Respected<\/strong> \u2013 Council members are listened to and have a say in decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Responsible<\/strong> \u2013 Pupils take ownership of making changes to improve school life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Included<\/strong> \u2013 Everyone\u2019s voice matters;
