Under the guidance of Miss Lisi, our dedicated Primary 7 pupils, who recently completed their Playmaker Award, took the lead in orchestrating the activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf93 What is the Playmaker Award?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Playmaker Award is a leadership programme designed to equip older primary pupils with the skills to plan and deliver engaging physical activities. Through this programme, our P7s have developed competencies in leadership, organisation, and teamwork, which they showcased brilliantly today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2642\ufe0f The Running Stations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our P7 leaders set up four innovative running stations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kamil organised a Daily Mile-style station, where pupils ran laps around a circuit to build stamina, simulating a cross-country experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maya and Joanna facilitated the Bleep Test, a progressive shuttle run that challenges participants to keep pace with increasing beeps, testing their endurance and speed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thorin introduced a Timed Hooping Course, where pupils navigated a course with a hoop, aiming to beat their own times and improve agility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ry, Brooke, and Rubie led a Team Relay Race, dividing pupils into teams to compete in a fun and energetic race to the finish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each group rotated through three of these stations, ensuring a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf1f Demonstrating Leadership and Inclusivity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our P7 Playmakers exhibited exceptional leadership, ensuring activities were inclusive and appropriately challenging for all age groups. They thoughtfully adjusted tasks for younger pupils, such as reducing distances or allowing extra time, ensuring everyone could participate confidently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2640\ufe0f Introducing the Mini London Marathon Challenge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re thrilled to announce our participation in the Mini London Marathon in schools, a nationwide initiative encouraging children to run, jog, or walk 2 miles between April 22nd and May 2nd. This event, supported by fitness coach Joe Wicks and in partnership with WWF-UK, aims to promote physical activity and environmental awareness among young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At St. Joseph\u2019s, we\u2019ll also be turning this into a sponsored event to help raise funds for our school, so every step our pupils take will be making a difference! \ud83c\udfeb\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our
