{"id":5113,"date":"2025-04-17T21:47:56","date_gmt":"2025-04-17T20:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/stjosephsprimary\/?p=5113"},"modified":"2025-04-17T21:52:26","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T20:52:26","slug":"egg-cellent-fun-at-our-easter-hour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/stjosephsprimary\/?p=5113","title":{"rendered":"Egg-cellent Fun at Our Easter Hour!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We had a <em>cracking<\/em> time at St. Joseph\u2019s Easter Fun Hour today \u2013 all thanks to our amazing Primary 7 pupils, especially our House Captains and Vice Captains, who planned and ran the event from start to finish!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fun began with a brilliant round of Bingo, organised by Thorin and Kamil, who ran a special \u201cEaster bingo\u201d version for our older pupils. There were giggles all around and lots of happy winners!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then it was time for everyone to head outdoors \u2013 including our newest and youngest pupil, Primary 1 Jensen, who joined in for his very first school event!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out in the sunshine, the children were split into their House teams to take part in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A colourful Easter Egg Hunt, filled with clues and surprises<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A series of Easter-themed races, including the bunny relay, egg and spoon, and even a carrot dash!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, helping one another, and having so much fun together. The teamwork, smiles, and energy on display made it a truly special afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To top it all off, everyone received a chocolate treat at the end \u2013 a lovely surprise kindly donated by Brooke\u2019s mum. Thank you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A huge well done to all the P7s who helped make the event a success, and a big thank you to the parents who came along to cheer the children on and support the
