St Joseph’s College dress code is simple but smart. We expect all our students to take pride in our school community and to dress appropriately.
Pupils are expected to wear their school uniform and dress appropriately for lessons:
- White school shirt/blouse (with short or long sleeves)
- School tie
- St Joseph’s College school blazer (compulsory for all S1 joining St Joseph’s College in August 2025)
- Black skirt or black school trousers (no jeans, sportswear or leggings)
- Black school footwear
- Outdoor jacket (to stay warm and dry in all weathers)
For Physical Education (PE) the required clothing is:
- Navy blue or white St Joseph’s College Sports T-shirt or PLAIN white or navy blue T-shirt
- Dark Blue or Black, Shorts, Tracksuit bottoms or Sports leggings
- Outdoor rain jacket or hoodie (e.g. P7 Leaver’s hoodie) as many PE activities take place outdoors in all weathers!
- Training shoes – Pupils must bring sports trainers to change in to for PE and they should have non-marking soles. (Converse and Vans shoes are not suitable, sports trainers are required).
- Optional footwear – football boots (suitable for both grass and 3G) – activity dependant.
Football colours or clothing which may offend others should not be worn to school. The same prohibition applies to immodest or inappropriate fashion clothes.
