A Local Authority Schools Handbook website will be introduced December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primary and Secondary settings will be offered their own school handbook website to meet the statutory deadline of December 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The website will be created by the ICT Development Officer, and training offered to the staff who will be populating the pages with content specific to their school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An instruction manual, and the opportunity for 1-2-1 support will be available to staff.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Impact:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At least one member of staff in each school (or partnership) setting to be identified with the responsibility of updating school handbooks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full training and support will be provided.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Benefit:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Upskilling existing staff, which can be applied to other communication materials supporting accessibility and inclusion to those families where English is not the first language, or additional support needs exists.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
