If your child is anxious about coming to school, experiencing friendship difficulties, or reporting bullying behaviour, it is important that you let us know as early as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regular attendance is essential for learning, relationships and confidence. When children and young people miss school because they feel unsafe or worried, it can quickly affect both attainment and wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By working together, we can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Listen to your child\u2019s concerns and take them seriously<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put appropriate supports in place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor attendance sensitively and support a return to school if needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with partners to ensure your child feels safe and included<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All schools in Dumfries and Galloway follow national guidance, including Respect for All, which underpins Scotland\u2019s approach to anti-bullying.
