Young people studying N4-N5, will have the opportunity to study up to 7 subjects. Young people studying Higher or above will take up to 5 core Highers per year . The number of courses selected by each young person will take into account their individual abilities, aspirations, and prior achievements, with decisions made on a personalised basis.

Our Senior Phase is structured by learners using their Learner Pathway.  The pathway identifies for each learner their career aspirations and direction of travel to get there. Whatever route your child wishes to take we will aim to support them to reach their chosen destination. From our learner pathway requests we build a timetable that seeks to meet as many requests as possible. To do this we utilise in school learning, partnerships with college and online learning.  We can’t always meet everyone’s request but we will do our best to come up with a suitable alternative offer where we can.
