Spring STEAM Week
During our Spring STEAM week Primary 3/4 took part in a variety of different STEAM activities. For the Engineering aspect of STEAM we participated in a construction activity. The children worked in teams to create an egg holder or a ramp for their egg. The children worked collaboratively and then shared their creations.
Primary 3/4 and 4/5 participated in an Easter egg hunt in our school playground. All children participated enthusiastically and had a great time! The chocolate was delicious too!
16.11.18 Children In Need
We all enjoyed dressing up today and we raised lots of money for children less fortunate than ourselves.

Meet the New Class August 2018
Hello from Primary 3/4.
We are enjoying being in our new class and are raring to go!

Technology Day 20th June 2018
Primary 2 and 3/4 enjoyed a terrific technology day! The children made pizzas, stuffed sock toys and brick models of their choice.
All children participated with enthusiasm and engaged fully in the activities! The creations were fantastic! Well done boys and girls.
Many thanks to the parents and grandparents who gave their time to come and help us. We could not have done it without your support!
Wednesday 23rd May- Snails
Today we had a visit from Mrs Morrison and her pet snails. She even brought eggs too! Mrs Morrison told us all about her snails from what they like to eat, how big they grow, their life span and much more. An interesting session, thank you Mrs Morrison!
Some of our children all dressed up for the occasion! We even had the press here to photograph us!
Wednesday 16th May- Measure
A great little active session out in the sun this morning! The children were using different equipment to measure in cm and m. Ask them what they did before they measured exactly!
Preparation for Sports day
Today we have been out enjoying the warm weather. We have been practising running in our own lanes for races. Some very competitive little faces in these photographs. It was lovely to hear the children cheering on and supporting each other. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday 21st May (weather permitting) Let’s pray for the sun to shine!
Our town Annan as part of the topic ‘Our Region’
On Wednesday 9th May P2 and P3/4 went a walk around Annan to investigate land use. The weather was kind to us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the trip out. We viewed many fish factories in Annan, farm land, the river and harbour, the train station and old bus station, residential areas, the High Street and much more! Many thanks to Mrs Lewis and Mrs Williamson for accompanying us!
Back in our room
We are delighted to be back teaching and learning in our room! We have been busy learning about the artist Archimboldo and worked in pairs to create our very own masterpieces! We decided on a title/ theme and then planned our creations using pictures of different objects.

AR 100% Winner
We are delighted to announce our winner this term who has achieved the most 100% scores in books they have read and quizzed on. 28 in total!!! Fantastic!
Close on their tail were our runner up with 21, and two pupils with 20. Well done to all. Overall a class total of 229 100%’s

Last Day (Term 3)
Today we say bye to our temporary classroom. It has been fun but we are ready to return to our new room after the holiday.

For the past four weeks we have had some fantastic rugby training. We learned lots of skills through fun games. Our clothes got pretty muddy too!

World Book Day

World Book Day.
P3/4 had a great time performing their assembly to the school.
They delivered a script in Scots to the well known fairy tale- Rumpelstiltskin.
All children involved did a wonderful job! There are lots of successful and confident children in our class.

We recently had a farmer visit us at school.
The farmer talked to us about how milk gets from his farm to the supermarket.
The farmer was called Mr Fleming.
