{"id":1032,"date":"2016-02-25T16:30:40","date_gmt":"2016-02-25T16:30:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/portpatrickprimary\/?p=1032"},"modified":"2016-02-25T17:51:22","modified_gmt":"2016-02-25T17:51:22","slug":"blue-peter-at-portpatrick-primary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/portpatrickprimary\/?p=1032","title":{"rendered":"Blue Peter at Portpatrick Primary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>What a busy day the boys and girls of Portpatrick had today!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>They have been filmed all day as part of the BBC Sport Relief , Blue Peter wave runner challenge.\u00a0 The film crew arrived at 9.30 am and left at 3pm.\u00a0 The children were followed be a camera crew as they\u00a0went up to Portpatrick Hotel to hold their snowdrop teas.\u00a0 This event which was generously supported by the Portpatrick Hotel and Dunskey estate\u00a0, raised \u00a3328 &#8211; of which a donation was made to Sport Relief.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>Back\u00a0at the school\u00a0in the afternoon, \u00a0the children got the paintbrushes out and painted some banners to take with them to the harbour at night time &#8211; to welcome the &#8220;wave runner&#8221; to Portpatrick.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>Have a look at all the fun we have had &#8211; being filmed as we make our way about Portpatrick.\u00a0 The programme is due to air on Blue Peter on either the 3rd or 10th of March.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>And to top it all , all the boys and girls were delighted to go home having being given a Blue Peter badge &#8211; a fabulous achievement in\u00a0itself !\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a busy day the boys and girls of Portpatrick had today!
