Leap Year Litter Pick 2020
On Friday 28th January the Eco Group and the P7 class took part in the “Leap Year Litter Pick,” on what was a very wet day. They were joined by Jamie James (Council Community Assets Manager),members of his team and members of the People’s Project. The Eco group worked in the playground and the path leading to the school, while the P7 class covered the area at the rear of the playing field and the path along towards The Stoop. They managed to collect an impressive 22 bags of rubbish. This has highlighted to the council that the area needs to be checked more regularly. In recognition Councillor John Martin presented the school with a Neighbourhood Champions Certificate. Well done to everyone involved and a special thank you to Christeen Weir and Sharron McGarva for helping on a very wet day.
